She just keeps growing
and growing, and growing! Audrey is close to walking all alone full-time now! She falls a lot still, but she'll walk anywhere. We taught her to climb stairs at grandpa's house!
At our last appointment, the doctor told us she needed to learn to climb stairs, stack blocks, say a few more words...and we need to get her off the bottle. She has been stacking blocks for awhile, but she's getting much better at it. Her aim is more on target!
Audrey is pretty good at the sippy cup, but sometimes at night she'll take a bottle for bed. Otherwise, that's going alright as well! We are glad she finally out-grew that milk allergy thing!
Audrey finally reached 20 lbs! So, yesterday we put in the forward-facing car seat and she seemed to really enjoy being able to see mom and dad.
Audrey has pretty much been getting in to everything lately. She's learning "no" but ignoring it a lot. She'll say "ahh-ahh-ah" and then get it. Pretty funny.
She has also learned to climb on everything!
She enjoys "Helping" with the laundry, dishes, just about everything she can play with.
Thayne's sister Ana and family were in town this week, so Audrey got to see her cousins Addison and Kileigh. It was the first time we've seen the new baby so we were excited! Audrey seemed to get along alright with them, but she had some jealousy issues having to "share" her aunts, uncle, grandpa, etc. Addison showed Audrey how to climb the stairs. She seemed to be interested in a baby that could walk, but wasn't sure about Audrey sometimes I think. Sometimes you wonder if Addison knows what the heck Audrey is "talking" about with all her babble.
It is hard to believe that in only two months we will all be on vacation in Colorado! Audrey and Addison could maybe play together by that time (if Audrey is to that stage finally) and all of the cousins will be there...Looking forward to putting Audrey in her swim suit!
