Well, its been a good week!
Ana, Kj and the girls (can't say that for long!) are in town and they have volunteered to watch Audrey-- Thayne says she has been having a total blast--but if you watch this video from Ana's page, you'll know it is definately so:

We went to the zoo again yesterday. Audrey liked it mainly because she got to run around. She was more aware of the animals and only a little excited about the fish. She gets to see fish at Walmart, so I guess the zoo isn't that special to her anymore? ANyway, it is interesting to see how her reactions change as she gets older. It is amazing to be able to go to a zoo like ours whenever we have time.

Okay, I know I just said "whenever we have time"...but I did get someone to work a couple days this week for family time and study time. It has worked out nice, but I gotta go back to work today.

So, this weekend I'll get some more photos up--

Well, the beginning of a new era, the posts are few and far between. Still trying to keep you updated, Audrey is doing pretty much the same as usual. Still no words. She has been VERY "helpful":

Washing the car--

Cleaning the House-

Brushing her teeth.

She wants to help dad with all his "projects", too.

Playing "Hide and go Boo"
Outside!
Chatting with the neighbor boy

Finally September--

Audrey has been extremely Mommy-clingy lately. She is throwing fits. She's a picky, picky eater. She pulls hair, hits, pushes, and occasionally tries to bite. She hates naps and bedtime. She thinks "no" means "try harder to get into it"...I don't know if you could call it the "terrible two's" just yet, but it has been pretty crazy lately. Audrey started going to Ben & Sarah's a couple of weeks ago and it started off well, but then she and Zeke fight all day over toys. I guess if someone has a toy and there a fifty billion other toys, you need to have that toy.
Audrey is having some major separation anxiety. She knows when mom is dropping her off and there's no fooling.
Here goes a fit, now..

Anyway, being a parent is still full of joy! There's nothing as amazing as seeing something you "created" growing and developing. I'm still waiting for the day she starts with real verbal communication. We still have "Ewock" speak...she says some words and she is incredibly vocal, if only we know what she was saying. She's really been in to reading books lately. And coloring is a favorite. So, we continue to watch as she grows and try to ignore the fits in hopes they will go away once she begins to talk and is able to tell us what she wants.

And, some photos...

It has been a long time since we last posted about our little bundle of joy! She is growing, of course. She still talks "Ewock" and bumps into things every other minute.

She is getting to be a very picky eater. She is getting into swimming and summer. She likes her new things from Ikea, and she's very interested in the world around her. She has been a little more attached to mommy, especially when she knows mommy is getting ready for work!

And, of course, I have photos!

Still loves popcorn time with Daddy:

Vacation?

Want a Noodle?

"Brrrrrr"
So if you keep up on our family page, you saw that Audrey went boating this weekend and had a wonderful time! She spent Saturday morning at Grandpa and Grandma Osborne's where she played the whole time. She really loves to explore.
Audrey has been really big into copying our actions. She will sometimes blow kisses, raise her hands to her sides when we're looking for something, she'll cross her arms in a "brrrr" motion, and she'll put her hands on her face when she just "Doesn't know". Pretty funny sometimes, watching her imitate people. IT was amazing to me the first time I set my pop down and she went over to drink out of it. Didn't realize she paid that close of attention sometimes!

We also did the pool again this weekend, but we didn't really have time to get in. Aunt Rachel got her splashing in it, and now she just loves it. It is empty, tipped up on its side and she has to go over and touch it when we walk by. And when Thayne dumped the water out of it yesterday, she had to go touch the water. Silly girl.
So, now we're just kinds sticking to the routine until vacation this coming weekend. So excited!
